The summer session is open to children through 12 years of age and runs from June to September. It is a wonderful way to introduce your child to our learning environment or provide an enriching and exciting alternative to traditional summer programming.
Children learn and play while engaging in fun activities geared towards special topics of interest such as Paleontology, Archeology, Outer Space, Oceanography, Geography, and the Medieval Era, with new topics emerging regularly.
Children also enjoy the summer weather with plenty of outdoor activities such as tending to gardens, and splashing in the water works on our large outdoor playground.

Culinary Arts Camp
It’s never too early to learn basic cooking techniques, kitchen safety and the joy of cooking. Students
will have the chance to participate in baking exercises and culinary delights. Over the course of these 2
weeks, our little chefs will decorate and personalize their chef hats and aprons, design and illustrate
their own cook book, practice reading and implementing recipes, learn about math and science in the
kitchen and, of course, prepare food and bake, bake, bake!!!
Come and join us for an amazing food filled adventure in the kitchen. We will be using the North End
Montessori School commercial kitchen for all the baking and cooking lessons.

Theater Camp - July 5-July 29
Theater Camp is a two-week immersive program that will culminate in a live performance on Saturday, July 15, 2017. This camp will center around skills and concepts all actors must possess, including; Character Development, Movement and Presence, Empathy, and Authenticity. During these weeks, students will learn theater techniques that they can use in future productions and theater experiences. Students will also learn how to participate in various activities that occur off stage, incorporating aspects of technical theater into their daily schedule. Our goal is not just to have our campers act on stage, but to understand and appreciate the work and dedication that goes into a theater production. Our campers will work with members of the Manchester Community Players during this exciting and informative camp. (No camp on Tuesday, July 4th)
